Privacy laws have not been updated to take into account new technology. I'm sorry, but it's not OK to start a Facebook group shaming women who eat food on the train (yes this is a thing), or upload upskirt shots to Creepshots. People are entitled to share a public space without the worry they are going to end up online because of some freaky weirdo who enjoys taking pictures without people's consent. Being in a public place doesn't give people the right to destroy you online for whatever reason. It's happening far too often. No, you probably shouldn't be giving head in a public place, it's kind of obscene for anyone passing. But neither should you be afraid to wear a skirt or put a piece of chocolate in your mouth or simply look attractive in case someone takes a picture and posts it online.

A guy I went to HS with, and have known forever, had an affair with a girl we all went to school with years later after she was married with kids and everything. I know about this because I know his whole family, she was going to leave her DH and then she wasn't.. bla bla drama drama. I log into facebook today and he is plastering his wall with photos of the two of them together, I guess hoping her husband sees them or something. I don't know what happened to spark this up, but boy oh boy I think I'm going to grab some popcorn for this one. 50-some odd comments already! Oh, I can't believe these people are adults. In their 40's! WTF are any of them thinking?

My DS19 and his girlfriend broke up about 6 months ago.He was completely destroyed for a few weeks. He saw on Facebook yesterday that she has a new boyfriend- and is 2 months pregnant. She is sneaky and selfish and I bet she ooopsed that kid. She has also quit her job and dropped out of college. That could have been MY SON THAT SHE OOOOPSED!! My son, who was awarded a full college scholarship! OMG......just thinking about it..

Re: Selfies on Facebook - I had to unfollow one person because it seemed that every other post of hers was a selfie. She just some weight, so I get that that might be in part due to the neverending stream of selfies, but geez.....take a break! You were beautiful before the weight loss, and I haven't forgotten how you looked from the last selfie you posted of yourself an hour ago.

She uses every excuse to post a photo of herself all made up on her facebook. It's really annoying. Watching a TV show? Not only does she has to post about it, but she has to put a selfie to go with it. Your birthday? She'll make it about her with a selfie on your page.

Would you friend someone who was Facebook friends with your bf ex wife? My bf sil sent me a friend request after me and her sister became Facebook friends. But I see on bf sil page she is still friends with bf ex's family, her mom is mainly the problem imo. Really there's no reason to be friends with her family imo, they don't interact IRL or on FB. I know the moment I become FB friends with bf sil his ex mil is going to go blab it to his ex wife and she's going to start poking her nose and become snippy about it (my profile pic is of us together). I want to avoid drama and the shit storm I know will be coming if I accept the request. I think maybe I should deny the request but I haven't responded yet to it. Advice?

I found my English teacher from my senior year on Facebook today. I graduated in 2007. He was very inspirational to me to speak my mind, be creative, bust my was to graduate... Basically better myself as a person and to actually put effort into what I do instead of just skating by because I could. I want to send him a friend request, but idk if that's appropriate or if it's just creepy. Thoughts?

When someone says "this is exactly why I don't have female friends" I automatically think it's them that is the problem and not other females. Some people like to play the victim card way too much and you know what? Men hate it when women do this too so I gather there was some sexism behind that comment. When a woman says she doesn't like other women and doesn't get along with them I have this meme from Facebook I saw in my head of a bunch of hot dogs being flung at her face. You are the problem, not us. You like playing the victim but you are no victim. Kick him out or stfu. You chose to leave comments open too so don't get pissed when some of us called you out on your BS.

Some people on Facebook think that by posting pictures of "fun times" with their kids and memes about god/jesus that they will automatically help to convert those of us who are childfree and atheist/agnostic. LOL

I set someone straight on Facebook when they said they felt like it was 50% of the person's fault when that person got into an abusive relationship. He said the signs had to have been there so it's half his/her fault for being in that kind of relationship. I told him victim blaming is never ok. Ever. It felt good to stick up for what I believe in and I think that helped solidify what kind of person I am to him and he may have more respect for me too cause he liked my comment.
