I want a new puppy so bad but can't afford one right now. I want a Boston Terrier. I'm so freaking jealous of all the new baby puppies I see on facebook. My boy is getting old and gray and I just get sad thinking about the possibility of not being able to pass on his awesomeness to a new baby before he passes just because of f*cking money. Our norm is two dogs, a BT and a golden retriever and when one gets to be old, we get a new baby of that breed so they can meet and know each other before the older dog passes. So sometimes we have three dogs. I want a puppy for my boy to teach to be awesome. *sad*

i feel the same way. I've never liked dogs. can't admit it of course because people assume you're satan incarnate and dog people can't handle it. meanwhile, it's practically a national pastime to declare hatred about cats.

I like cats, dogs, and even kids. But of the three, I find children are most likely to actively annoy me.

I like both kids and dogs, but can we discuss what assholes cats are? Lol

To each their own about dogs and kids but one of the reasons maybe even the main reason I stopped taking anti depressants was because of my dog going absolutely bananas with joy every time I come home. Before I got her, I wasn't sure I had any capacity for love but now I know I do. Makes me tolerate her peeing on the carpet no problem.

I hate dogs. I don't think they should be neglected or mistreated or anything, but I just don't like them. They are smelly, dirty, shed, drool....gross. And, yes, I've had dogs before. But if I ever mention this to someone, they at like I just killed their mother.

More holiday and family bullshit, ready? Family Christmas dinner location is dictated by one sibling’s dog. Restaurant has to have indoor patio that allows dogs. If not, then the restaurant has to take reservations so the dog family can be in and out quickly. They don’t want to leave the dog for over 3 hours. The dog is 2 years old and not a rescue or abused or anxious or any health issues. My mom hates dogs, i don’t know why she doesn’t tell them to put up or shut up.

I agree that smoking is a disgusting habit! My ex was a non-smoker when I met him. Actually a FORMER smoker and he'd been quit 6 years when we got together. He knew how much I hated smoking and swore he'd never pick up again. Then he got stressed when he lost his job and picked up a pack a day habit like he never left it. I cut him some slack and he agreed not to smoke in the house. But his breath smelled and his clothes and car smelled. Then he started smoking on the back porch and left butts lying around and one of our dogs ate them and got really sick. He promised to quit "in a year" and never did. It just got worse. He started smoking in the kitchen and we'd fight about it. He argued he was smoking through an open window. No matter, I was still exposed to nasty smoke. We broke up for many reasons but that was one big one. I'd break up with an alcoholic too.

So I'm the one who posted about cussing coworker. I've gotten used to her and her tantrums. She's never yelled at me or cussed at me. Thank God! She'd be in shock if she ever talked to me like that because I'm quiet and mind my business. So last week I was really tired and sitting there doing my work. She slams her hands on the desk and starts cussing away. Her dogs got sprayed by a skunk. Her dd text her and told her. I told her to open the windows when she goes home for lunch, and wash them in hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and dawn soap. Next morning she was happy as a clam. Jeez! I think she had a ton of unresolved issues from being molested as a kid. She weighs over 400 pounds too. I think the 2 go hand in hand. All I can do is try and be compassionate and help her if she asks.
