I had a dream last night that my brother died. I got a phone call from my ex-uncle-in-law, who lives near and is friends with my brother. He just said, "Jim's dead." Nothing else. It was awful. I've also been having dreams about my house flooding from the upstairs bathroom, and being completely ruined, unlivable. Not good dreams. I don't know what they mean. Anyone here want to take a crack at it?

Sometimes I hate my dreams. They always seem so real. Last night I dreamed of an abusive ex-boyfriend. In the dream, he was nice to me, but i felt guarded even though I was sarcastic to him and treating him like crap. I hate that i dreamed of him. It's been 20yrs since "us" and since i've seen him. I thought i had him removed from my life/heart/mind, guess not. So today I'm in odd mood, like I'm going to see him soon. I hate him and I do not want to see him. I don't want my husband w/ me if i do run into him as exbf will start shit. I know his neighbors, (I see the husband on monthly basis, he delivers to my work) and from what he's told me before, exbf hasn't changed one bit. Sigh. Maybe a harder workout will shake the ugliness i feel. I do need to cut the cord w/ him though.

If he's visiting you in your dreams, then he's dreamwalking - and really, you're supposed to get permission from the other person before doing that. Astral travel (or astral projection) is when you leave your body (when sleeping or napping), and no, others can't see you. I've been projecting for most of my life. Mostly it's spontaneous, but I've learned to go at will. And then there were two times that I was seen by different people, during the day, doing what I was planning on doing later in the day. I still can't find an answer for that.

My friend has told me he astral travels and says he visits me in my dreams. I'm a dream person. Vividly. With emotions and physical feeling too. I've never seen him in my dreams though. Not sure exactly how astral travel works though. He only sees me, I don't see him? IDK.

For some reason lately my one that got away had been appearing in my dreams and I've been hearing songs that remind me of him. Then I come on this board and see all these confessions about the same thing...Funny how the universe works!

I have one old bf that I daydream about. Wonder "what if he never lost interest" but I know it would have never worked out. I briefly dated someone else I had kind had "unfinished business" with. Lots of chemistry together but never dated before I got married and eventually divorced. It fizzled fast and now we aren't even friends anymore. We had both changed so much in the 10 years we were apart that it was like dating Tom and expecting him to be Jack. But I'll stick to my daydreams about this other guy. It's a nice escape some days.

I was madly in love with my hs BF for 7 years. Things ended, he moved across the country, I got married & had kids. I think of him alot still and he pops up in my dreams sometimes.not sure if I ever got over him. We have not spoken in 15 yrs. last nite his step-bro who's a fb friend, messaged me asking if I was on good terms with ex.I asked why. He said ex told him that I was the one that got away. I was floored. I didn't think ex even still thought of me too. Step bro didn't know if I was married or what my situation was. Now I'm thinking of ex even more.I'm not going to open any doors by friend requesting ex, who is on fb too. Just makes me question some of my life decisions. I've been married 14 yrs.

My vivid dreams/nightmares keep me mind awake all night. They're not making sense right now and I hate waking up exhausted after a full nights rest.

I just dreamed someone I love very much just received justice he deserved. I hope this is one of those true dreams. We really, really need this.

I have very vivid dreams, and sometimes there are premonitions, warnings or messages in them. So, I like to spend the first few minutes upon waking up to recall my dreams and think about them. Last night I had my second dream about a tornado hitting our house. I was awoken today by dh talking on the phone to a coworker, then he said, "I have to go, my dd is calling me." Then I could hear his dd talking in a panicked voice. She was caught in a tornado while driving to work. The way she described the tornado itself, and how it hit her, was exactly as my dream. She's okay, just shaken, but I hope my dream was in reference to her and not that a tornado is going to wipe us out. We don't live in a traditionally tornado-prone area, but they can happen. And when I dream something repeatedly, it usually happens.
