I don't have anywhere to post this so I guess I'll post it here. I have been a chronic compulsive overeater for nearly my entire life. I would eat when I was stressed, bored, anxious, and I would eat until I felt sick. Constantly trying to fill a void with food. Chasing the feel-good with sugar and salt. And I have been absolutely miserable for the majority of my life as a result. But for the past few months, it's as if something has clicked in my brain! I don't get satisfied like I normally do when I stuff my face! There is no rush of comfort or ecstacy. I can't disappear away from my problems and zone out. I'll eat an entire bag of Funyuns and think, 'wow, I got NOTHING out of this but a stomachache'. I have been stuffing my face out of habit, not because it's doing anything for me. I feel afraid. I hope that whatever has come over me will last forever and I DON'T keep turning to food for comfort.

I am so pissed at this lady I work with. I just got handed a pile of her projects. One of them was with a big client, so I emailed them to let them know I would be taking it over. They sent me all the emails they'd sent the lady who was working on them--she basically ignored all their requests and they were PISSED. So now I get to play SuperHero and save the project and make them not hate our company forever. I don't know whether or not to say anything to the coworker who was working on it though. I feel like she'd just be pissed off at me.

I've lost almost 100 lbs just by calorie counting on MFP. It also initially motivated me to walk a few miles a day to earn an extra couple hundred calories. For me it was sustainable because I can stick to it forever, eating whatever food group I want to, just in moderation. And once I got used to logging, I could do it in just a couple minutes by saving meals and regular foods. Kudos to you ladies who can do low carb, low fat, etc.. I could never give up my bread, pasta, ice cream, etc and stick to it!

The first time my fiance and I had sex, it was going on for long while. He sounded like a total douche when he asked me during sex "Do you like my gift?" I asked him what gift. He said that he can last forever. Here we are almost 6yrs later and the man can still last forever. On top of that, he won't finish until after I do at least once, most times twice.

I don't want to do this but i think i have to. my boss is horrible at replying to her emails. she either never responds or takes forever to if she does (like months later). i'm finding this incredibly annoying and disrespectful. i work the night shift which means i never actually see her so if i have a question or concern, email is the only route i have. i get that she's busy but i still think she could find a few minutes out of her day to respond to me especially since she knows i can't talk to her in person. I'm gonna start cc-ing her supervisor all the emails i send to her and see if she can magically find a way to respond then.

Now that the emotional vortex has come down. I need to start healing and can't avoid working on myself forever. Trying out this daily self-care routine (and putting it on here to hold myself accountable). I'll start my day with herbal tea, gratitude either written or verbally, write in my journal, go for a quick jog around neighborhood, then end with yoga/meditation. Seems like a lot, but I think I can do this.

I used to have more in common with my son than my daughter. Now he's grown and out of the house and it's just me, DH & DD. And now, DD & I are like two peas in a pod and DS really only calls or comes by when he needs something. I get it, he's an adult now and trying to make his own life. What scared me is that DD is making noises like she wants to move out. (She is 19) And then, she will be the same way. For years and years my kids have been my best friends, my very favorite companions. And that is all coming to an end. And I'm not great at making new friends. It's a scary and life changing time for all of us. But I do try not to let DD know how much I wish she could just live at home forever. I know that's not okay. But DH & I hardly talk, and I'm just not looking forward to it only being the two of us. I do love him, but it's just not the same any more. We're going to have to learn to be best friends again.

The man I'm seeing and his wife, told their 14 year old son they're divorcing. Their marriage has been over for a while, but they agreed not to tell their son until after a trip he went on. His wife has also been seeing someone for a while. They both knew that each other were seeing other people. I cried when he called and told me. He seemed ok because they knew they were eventually divorcing. I just feel sad. Marriage was supposed to be forever. My marriage has been over for a long time too.

People say Chelsy Davy looked tormented during Harry’s wedding. To Chelsy I say well at least you were invited to his wedding and got to say goodbye. Some of us don’t get invited and are erased so the one who got away is suspended forever in limbo in our memories.

it's kind of annoying when i text someone and they take forever to respond. I get that people are busy and they can't always respond right away and that's fine but i texted my friend friday about going to a concert and she just now got back to me. like, really? she didn't look at her phone for 3 days? she couldn't find 10 sec to give a yes or no response in over 72 hours? i find that hard to believe considering she's constantly on her phone when i see her.
