I love watching the Keto vs. Whole Foods Plant Based arguments about which is better. Know why they both pretty much work? You are cutting out the crap! Most people will lose weight when they eat a clean keto diet and most people will lose weight on a mostly plant based whole food diet. Where you have problems is when you eat all the keto or vegan "snack foods" they market. I also wonder if people realize that calorie counts for processed foods can be off by a lot--20% or more. I find I do so much better when I eat mostly whole foods and focus on not eating processed garbage.

I really want to build up my butt again. It looks so flat right now and I hate it. I know it's because I lost too much weight so I plan to start a pretty decent glute program along with my reverse diet to try to build them back up to where they were. I'm sick of not filling out my jeans.

I did a medically supervised reverse diet. Gained weight, of course. Never lost it. Didn't change anything. I don't know if I'm cranky. I think bitter is the better word. It's ridiculously unfair to not be able to eat like a normal person.

I have a CW who complains about her weight a lot too, but she also brings fast food in a lot. Once, I said to her "You eat a lot of fast food, don't you?" and she said "Yeah, I do...it's just easier. You always bring healthy stuff". And yeah...that's why I don't have a weight problem. I am also not impulsive generally, so maybe that's also part of it. I don't see food and immediately feel the need to eat it, but judging from what I see at work a lot of people seem to have trouble with that. I know my DH is definitely a "see food, eat food" person.

It's not the same thing at all. The CW I was talking about is nothing like you. She's the one who makes comments about what I'm eating. I don't engage, I come here and bitch about it. Because seriously, I don't want to hear her complain about the status of her weight or health and act like she's just unlucky when I can physically see with my own eyes that she's eating food that causes her to be in this situation. And FTR, I get that whole 'eat a burger' shit every single time I say that I'm cold. Every. Time. "You're cold because you don't have any fat on you, you should eat a burger." Whatever. Commenting about other people's weight or what they're eating is rude any way you slice it. I come here to do it. Safe space and all.

In order for me to lose weight, I have to eat less than 1,000 calories a day. And that's with exercise, which I already do. I have been to countless doctors over at least ten years, and the official cause it, "That's just the way your body is." I had an eating disorder for years, and that may have contributed. I eat ridiculously clean and healthy, basically Paleo, and have for years. If I ate like the average person, I'd be 100 pounds overweight. I currently eat about 1,200 calories a day just to maintain being 20 pounds overweight. I have to weigh and measure everything, just to stay where I am. If someone has never had food issues before, it is really easy to sit and judge. Do you tell people with anorexia to just eat a burger? Because it's kind of the same thing.

I'm confessing here that I'm kind of pissed off at my husband for getting fat. People say it's part of getting older, but that is complete bullshit. I've given up an ever having sex again. I have no idea if he can even perform any more. He doesn't ever seem interested, and I have tried to talk to him about it, always to no avail. He's my best friend and I love him so much. But it pisses me off that he's done this to us. It doesn't help my self esteem, either, that my husband won't have sex with me. But honestly, I think the whole problem stems more from his weight than from anything I did or didn't do. It just makes me so angry and sad.

I can totally relate, OP.. I have a friend like that. Always saying how lucky I am to be thin (although I'm more average than skinny) and she wishes she could be my size, etc. Um, hello, I exercise, and count calories and make good food choices. She is probably 100+ lbs overweight and does nothing. Eats like shit all day and night, drinks on the weekends and doesn't do one lick of anything physical. She also has a desk job. I don't care what weight she is but stfu.

This lady on FB posts that she wants to lose weight, right? And she's looking for advice. Somebody tells her to stop drinking soda and replace it with water. Good advice! She responds with, "Oh I don't really drink anything but water already. Maybe unsweetened tea on occasion.".... LOL, lady you just posted yesterday pictures of the strawberry cheesecake 'healthy' shake you got at some diner. And you post pictures all the time of random terrible food and drinks you're enjoying. I think it's funny. I mean, this lady bragged a couple weeks ago about how she's tried every flavor of mountain dew ever made. LOL.

Dear coworker: the reason I'm at a healthy weight and have no health issues is because I exercise and eat right. I'm not just lucky. It's not rocket science, it's not genetics, and it's not luck. I eat brown rice and vegetables for lunch every day. Meanwhile, I don't really know what you're eating but it smells like an IHOP in here. I can almost feel the sugar in my nose. The mountain of processed food wrappers in your trash can is very telling also. And the junk and garbage you put in your body is why you look and feel sick. Garbage in, garbage out.
