I don't know how to tell the guy I'm seeing that I can barely breathe when he's on top of me. Jesus! I hope he doesn't smother me before I can tell him. How do I tell him nicely?

My facebook must be so different from some of yours. The main things I see on there that make me unhappy are political or religious posts. Invariably posted by family members that I rarely see IRL, and don't want to unfollow or unfriend. That's about it. Most of the stuff I see on my facebook are pictures of my friends and their kids and fun stuff that they're doing. Might make me a little jealous sometimes (like- wish I could have gone with them) but all in all facebook makes me happy. I've unfollowed or unfriended almost all of the right-wing nut jobs who were making me unhappy with their 'MAGA' bullshit and 'Obama's gonna take my assault rifle that I NEEEED to kill coyotes on my property!' ('But actually, have never used except to blow up beer bottles.') and all the Jesus posts. Like 'Share this post or you hate Jesus and want all puppies to die!!!' ..lol. Nope. Buh-bye.

100% of Christian churches should be denouncing Trump's policies. “Then he will answer them, ‘I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’" I love Jesus, but I will never be a Christian, mostly because I don't believe in God, but also because I can't stand hypocrites.

It makes me so happy to hear that there are churches that are openly speaking out against Trump's policies. Around here, many Christians are doubling down on their support of this vile administration. The mental gymnastics is astounding. I'm just praying that they know in their hearts that he goes against everything Jesus taught and they're just trying to save face when they defend him. Probably not, though.

I just try to always remember that the people who gave Jesus the hardest time about everything were the religious wing-nuts who hated that he didn't follow all their stupid rules. That's the only way to keep sane around the evangelicals. I am beginning to understand why the people at my very bigoted church pressured me to go to a Christian university--they wanted to keep me indoctrinated with their close mindedness. I went to a public, diverse university and was exposed to many different people of many different cultures and I think that really was the key to me having more of an open mind about other faiths and cultures.

I got into an argument with some guy that is an elder at the church I grew up in. He was arguing that immigrant kids can't provide documentation that they're related to their parents and therefore, this is all justified. I posted a comment about how Jesus never checked anyone's papers and helped everyone. He called me an idiot and said he was disappointed in me for making that comparison. Unfriended. I can't deal with that kind of hate in my life. What a total ass. I am reminded daily of why I stopped attending that church.

Not sure why someone would try to force people to recycle? It's because we want for our children to inherit an earth that is habitable. A dead whale washed up in Thailand recently. It died because it had ingested seventeen pounds of plastic, including 80 plastic bags. We need to do things differently. Yeah, some people choose to try and fix things. Some people are going to pick your Coke can out of the trash and recycle it. Why? The human race is going to cease to exist because people are fricking morons, that's why. Jesus.

Cashiers are just people trying to get through their boring day. They don’t make a lot of money. They deal with a lot of nitpicking jerks. They most likely don’t have a degree in psychology. Grocery shopping is generally not a sensitive subject. I’m not sure why there is this high expectation of professionalism from them. Heaven forbid they speak to anyone! They should know their place! The woman who got “so pissed” about the Pepsi Fire was hopefully exaggerating. If not, good lord. I feel bad for the woman who struggled with eating disorders, but how is anyone supposed to know that? Y’all should really get over yourselves. You probably spend all of 2 minutes interacting with cashiers. I could see being mad if they were commenting on yeast infection cream or something....but really? Jesus. Get on with your day.
