This is how sad things have gotten around here: there was a disturbance tonight at my city’s July 4th celebration. I witnessed it, so I flagged down the police officers canvassing the area by putting my hand on his front arm/shoulder area. Holy. Shit. A wall of meat. Warm man meat. I spent the rest of the evening fantasizing about the officer. And now, I’m off to download some ebook smut. Definitely has to feature a uniformed officer.

So my mom is at the stage in her Alzheimer's where she is being violent. She got so violent with one of the nurses that the police had to be called. She tried to just about kill my dad. I'm sorry, but if I ever do get an Alzheimer's diagnosis and could ever be in a situation where I'd hurt my loved ones because I didn't know who they were, I'd be sick. This is why I plan on getting a lethal dosage of something fatal and planning my death. I will talk to DH about it and as soon as my quality of life starts suffering, I will plan an epic feast and have a party and then take my lethal dose. I do not ever want to put people I love through this kind of hell.

Congrats! I did the police dispatch test last week and passed with a 94%. The trainer seemed to be very excited for me, but the hiring process is very involved. Next step is a panel interview with her and 2 other employees, which the next available is at the end of the month. From there, it'd be another 4-8 weeks for a polygraph and background check. And then the training is about 40 weeks! I'm hopeful for this opportunity though.

A recruiter contacted me on indeed. Talked up a lot of great things so I had a phone interview today. Very misleading job description. It'd pay about $3 more per hour, but the commute would be an hour each way. And if I moved to that part of town, housing is either ridiculously priced or seriously crime infested. Plus the description made it out to be a loan advisor and purchase agent but it's cold calling debt collection, which is basically the one job I could never do and have a good conscience. I've gotten another half dozen rejections but I got invited to test for a police dispatch job next week. Hopefully that one goes well- it pays nearly twice what I make now.

When you sign up with Facebook or other social accounts, you don't have to give your correct birth date or address. You can make it all up, even your name. It's not like there's a Facebook police squad - yet. Wait for it.

We posted a video in multiple places and tagged the CIA, FBI, school board, school, superintendent, police stations and several news and media outlets. It didn't go viral, but the school/schoolboard got pressured and the boy has now been kicked out of school.

I'm dating a guy that is obsessed with lipstick. He wants me to try different colors on and he likes watching me put it on. He loves hoop earrings too. He's a retired policeman. Do you think it's weird that he likes those things? He also has a bit of a girly voice. Maybe I'm over thinking all of this?

In my day, if a student made a threat to kill people, the school called the police and the kid was kicked out immediately, and not allowed to trespass back on the property. Nowadays, schools don't want to step on parents toes, so they let little johnny go on his murder spree and the parents cry "It's not his fault, he's special needs". Sorry, not sorry, my childs life is more important than his education. It's been reported, no one wants to touch it. This school is protected for some reason. Reporters aren't even allowed on the property, but they're allowed at all the other schools. There is something going on at this school that they're hiding. Teachers quit often, but they don't say why.

My brother is a fucking idiot. He was dating a great woman-she treated him like royalty. He is unemployed, she has a high paying job, is attractive and paid for everything when they went out. She has a beautiful home in a great neighborhood. She treated him with great respect and complimented him and built him up. She told him she loved him for him.So what does my stupid brother do??He stole a few thousand dollars from her! Of course she broke things off with him. She did not to talk to the police or anything like that. He begs her to give him another chance.He texts her saying he is sorry, he wasnt thinking, etc. She answers that she cant be in a relationship with someone she cant trust. The whole thing is sad.I hate to say this, but she will have no problem meeting someone else.He fucked up HIS life, he could have had a great life with her.She said she dosent hate him but cant trust him.

The police came last night, pushed the safe to the side of the road, and left it there. My DH called them this morning and they said that no one has reported a safe missing.
