I was hoping for the longest time that soon-to-be ex would want to reconcile. I made a fool of myself crying and begging him to work on things with me. After MONTHS of hoping and praying, I gave up. Today, he approaches me and said he realizes he made a mistake. It's just too little, too late. I know in my heart that I could never trust him again and I would always feel insecure about his feelings for me. I will admit, part of me wanted to tell him we'd work on things, but I told him we can't go back and I was no longer interested.

I wish I would have eloped to Hawaii or some tropical destination. If I had it to do over again, that would be our choice in a heartbeat.

Where I used to work, people without kids volunteered to switch shifts for holidays for people who did have kids, they were never asked or told to do so. They did it out of the goodness of their hearts, knowing that they could spend adult time with family on a different weekend. It's hard to change Christmas day for your kids.

I was browsing in a store yesterday and I swear I smelled you. It just smelled like you were right next to me. Your cologne, your deodorant, I don't know. Your smell. And my heart started to race, and I looked around like an idiot looking for you. I hate the way that's all it took, your smell, to get me all worked up and fluttery. And it wasn't even you! I hate that I have feelings for you. Hell, I 'll admit it: I'm in love with you. I have been for years now. But I'll never let you know that. If you knew, I'd feel even more pathetic than I do now. How pathetic to be in love with a man who will never love you back. There's something seriously wrong with me.

I am happy to be part of the crowd if it means that my heart and mind are open.

I have so much on my mind and heart. I'm afraid if I start talking about it, I will never stop or I'll start crying and also never stop. I need to shift my energy around, I'm not feeling all that great.

Took a med terminology exam and had a tiny heart attack when I saw a 47.9 score. Then I realized it was out out 50 not 100. Lol!

My heart goes out to all the caregivers. I watched both of my parents be caregivers to their elderly parents and it's a sad, tough, thankless job. My grandfather was diabetic and refused to take his meds and constantly ate junk food. My dad finally just gave up and let him do what he wanted until his dad eventually ended up in a nursing home. It's so hard watching someone you love give up and die but it's their life.

I don't understand being heartbroken about not getting a certain gender that you want. It seems women get the most emotional cause they're not having a girl. What is the big deal about having a girl anyways? I have 3 boys and couldn't imagine my life without them. I was never disappointed each time I went in to find out the gender and was told I'm having a boy. I never felt sad about that at all. I was happy and excited. What the hell is the big deal about not being able to have a girl? I don't get the big fuss about that at all. It bugs me for some reason to know that women are having kids and knowing full well they could end up with all boys and then surprise! You're having another boy. Imagine telling your little boy that you're disappointed he wasn't a girl, yeah that's going to make him feel so much better about himself.

I'm sorry best friend, I cannot afford your destination wedding. We are strapped for cash and you very well know this. If I could afford to go I would go in a heartbeat. If I had perhaps a longer time to save and scrimp for it I would go in a heartbeat. However you had a quick engagement and rapidly started planning for this very expensive wedding and I'm not able to go. I wish this didn't have to be such an issue between us.
