I have worked in this building 15 years. The first year: Was told about staff member who killed his girlfriend and dismembered her. Year two: Employee has freak accident in adjacent parking garage, backs her Suburban off the sixth floor, crushed to death. Year three: Man commits suicide, leaping off seventh story of same garage. Kids attack local homeless man, he dies in front of the building. Quiet for a few years. Man sets his truck on fire in front of building then walks two blocks and jumped in front of train. Man attacked and beaten in public bathroom. Yesterday someone OD'd and died in same bathroom. This area was settled in late 1800s and was the scene of massacres and wars between native Americans and settlers. When I lived in the neighborhood, it was the worst four years of my life. This place is a vortex of pain and trouble. Oh, and an employee was run over in front of the building and died right before I started. So many weird, awful things.

At my job we can sign up for shifts to cover the phones in order to get more leads. I'm not picky; I just tell my manager that I want to work X number of shifts and to put me wherever. Today I had a funny feeling all day. Nervous. Finally I sat down to try to figure out what it was, and I heard, "Check the schedule." I looked and I was on for today, and had to be there in half an hour! I've been so tired lately from an illness, not thinking straight, and really did not feel like going in (it's not mandatory and not a big deal if we don't make it), but I raced to get ready and get in. And guess what? After a dry spell, I got a solid lead on a half-million dollar property.

A few years ago, I dreamed that I was driving to work in a snowstorm, listening to Fleetwood Mac, and a car hit me head-on. The next morning, it was snowing really hard, and when I went to start my car, my battery was dead. My dh drove me to work, and when we were driving down the same road I'd dreamed about, Fleetwood Mac came on the radio. Obviously, I didn't die, but I almost pissed myself. I still wonder about it. Maybe my battery died for a reason...

DH has to go downstate today for an important appointment. He told me as he was dropping me off at work this morning that he had a bad feeling like he was going to be killed in a car accident today. What in the f*cking hell? I told him that's not going to happen. It freaks me out that he said that, that he feels that way. *shudder*

So... I had a dream that I could touch people and make them fart. I woke myself up, I was laughing so hard. Wtf, brain. WTF. Not sure I even want to know the meaning behind it. I think my guides were just screwing with me because I've been depressed lately.

I have had the same dream twice in the last week. My DH is lying in bed next to me, rubbing my arm and running his fingers through my hair. I distinctly felt his touch on my skin, then looked at him and said, 'you know I'm dead, right?' And he said yes and continued. That freaks me out!!

I agree with mustangsally. Death dreams can mean a literal birth or rebirth/new beginnings. Maybe you are headed for a change in your life that could be mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual. Are there any big changes that you are aware of coming up in the near or distance future? I had death dreams right before and right after finding out I was pregnant. Maybe look at your connection with your brother and that may lead to the type of rebirth your dream is referring to. Not just sibling connection but maybe your feelings towards him, type of relationship or a number of other things.

They could just be stress/anxiety dreams. What's important is how they made you feel. Do you maybe need to reconnect with your brother? Do you have guilt or stress connected with him? Are you afraid something could break or be ruined in your life? I find that I have dreams like this when things are going well, and I'm afraid the bottom is going to drop out. Unless it's normal for you to have prophetic dreams, I wouldn't worry too much.

I had a dream last night that my brother died. I got a phone call from my ex-uncle-in-law, who lives near and is friends with my brother. He just said, "Jim's dead." Nothing else. It was awful. I've also been having dreams about my house flooding from the upstairs bathroom, and being completely ruined, unlivable. Not good dreams. I don't know what they mean. Anyone here want to take a crack at it?

I usually do a three card tarot spread for myself, and then afterwards, I'll reshuffle the deck and pull one card to meditate on. Almost always, it's one of the three cards I previously pulled. I've been reading cards for over twenty years and I still get excited when it happens, lol.
