In response to a confession. Well, we've already been called crazy for our beliefs. It's not that surprising that people are a bit shy about showing their names after that.

In response to a confession. Probably because this is a sensitive subject, one for which people regularly get bashed and/or made fun of. Perhaps they don't want confessions here tied to their screennames. Or perhaps they just don't want to make an account for whatever reason.

In response to a confession. There are loads of lucid dream triggering binaural beats videos on YouTube. Some of them are 8 hours long. Just make sure you use head phones. Anyone can do it. You just have to train your mind.

I have very colorful, vivid, realistic dreams every night. And it SUCKS. The dreams themselves arent bad, but even though I sleep 7-8 hours I wake up exhausted. It's like my brain won't shut down. I would kill just to fall asleep and then wake up and not remember anything. I've been like this for years. Plus I get up 1-2 times to pee every night no matter what so that doesn't help either.

I am jealous of those of you who regularly have lucid dreams. The only time I was ever able to have them was when I was taking anti-malaria medication.

Why are there so many "response to confession" postings? Is it really that difficult to reply in the comments??

In response to a confession. It's completely normal for a person who experiences sleep paralysis to feel this way. I've had lucid dreams and sleep paralysis since I was a kid, and lemme tell ya, I know how terrifying it can be. I thought a demon was trying to kill me, and believed for years that I'd been abducted by aliens. If this happens to you, when you lay down, consciously set the intention that nothing can touch you; anything negative around you is banished and you're protected by *insert whatever you believe in* Angels, God, Jesus, guides, etc. You might even smudge your house with sage. It's the belief and intention behind the action that counts. We have more control/power over our minds than we think.

In response to a confession. It's called sleep paralysis, and this happened to me frequently as a child. But I'm completely on the fence about that really being what it was for me, for two reasons: 1) We really DID have - what I fully believe to be - a demonic entity in that house, and 2) I left home at 18, I'm almost 50 now, and I never experienced that again.

In response to a confession. There's a kind of "haunting" or something along those lines where people actually think they have a demon sitting on them, haunting them and they also feel that pressure on their chest of something on their chest and they open their eyes and see a demon sitting on them. I saw something like this on TV a few years ago and apparently this sort of thing has plagued a lot of people and seems to happen to quite a few individuals. I know one lady said she could never sleep more than a few hours cause she'd wake up with a demon on her chest. I can't even remember the name of the show or if there's a name of this odd phenomenon.
