Look, you clearly have some kind of issue. I have no idea what happened to you to make you react this way, but you really need to chill out. People have differences of opinion every single day. If this is how you deal with someone finding something you like to be distasteful when that thing is a piece of fiction, I can't imagine how you get along in daily life with people having differing opinions on, say, political issues. So how about you have a glass of wine, maybe take a downer, you read what you want to read, I'll read what I want to read, and everyone is happy at the end of the day.

To be fair, GoT's description of Daenerys's marriage is really more like if Nabokov had written a book from Lolita's point of view talking about how much she loved being molested by her stepfather.

If you really can't tell the difference between "Lolita" and "Game of Thrones" I cannot help you.

Says the person who uses classy terminology like "creepy-ass" and "dude". Actually, yeah I find it pretty offensive that you judge someone to be a creep when you don't even know said person, who is writing fiction of a different place and time. Enjoy your moral outrage. Oh, and while you're at it, I suggest you avoid Nabokov. Clearly also a creep purely because of his subject matter, despite the fact that he wrote one of the greatest English language classics ever, and English wasn't even his first language.

I hate the Yankees and don't care for the show "Girls." Does anyone have an issue with that?

Op of confession posted at 2014-04-28 12:21:33. "READ THE BOOKS" is commonly posted in all-caps and occasionally with an abundance of exclamation points when anyone expresses surprise about what happened in the TV show last night. The book fans call the show only fans morons, illiterates and go out of their way to place spoilers. There's nothing wrong with reading the books, but some fans need a slap in the face with a wet haddock. Frankly, I think the books blow but I enjoy the series...and I resent being told that I'm obviously an idiot who cannot read because of that.

Yes, I personally found it creepy and gross as hell and I highly highly doubt he has ever had a close female friend, at least not one who doesn't now look at him sideways. Why does my opinion bother you? Are you GRRM? Because if so, I have no trouble saying to your face that I find you creepy and your writing style leaves much to be desired. I'm sure mine is not the only criticism that you've ever received and frankly, I'm sure you'll cry all the way to the bank.
