In response to a confession. Yes to all three. It was almost 5 years ago that I felt some kind of weird push to explore other spiritualities (raised Catholic). A friend of a friend had showed me some of her crystals and explained them to me, which I later told dh about. That weekend he went to the library and came back with a book about healing crystals. I've now collected hundreds of them and use them for many things, including healing. That naturally led to Oracle cards, meditation, spirit guides, pendulums, etc. When I started all of this I also started getting into the LoA (which dh had told me about years before, but I brushed off) and dang if I wasn't able to manifest pretty much everything I wanted. It was truly crazy.

I read tarot, meditate, chat with my spirit guides, all that awesome hippy-dippy, witch-life stuff. All the women in my family are like that, too.

I have a dream about 2-3x a year that I watch an airplane explode. I'm always on the ground looking up and the airplane is always in the sky. There are never people riding in it either (that I remember ). I can't coincide it with any events or stresses in my life, it's just totally random when it occurs. I've not flown since the dreams began, several years ago. Not because of the dream--just have had no reason to fly. Makes me kinda leery to get on a plane again though. Even though it's probably symbolic anyway.

I have a recurring dream that I am at a store and I see a little toddler wandering around, so I take him with me to find his mother. When I do find the boy's mom (it's always a little boy), she always tells me that the baby is mine now and he's my problem. Then she disappears and I become an instant parent and I feel both overwhelmed and happy at the same time. I tend to have this dream when I'm about to start something very stressful. I think it's amazing that dreams can tell us so much about what we're going through.

Fifteen years ago, I got divorced and moved to the city. My lawyer was an idiot, so a friend introduced me to a big-shot attorney she knew. Although he couldn't help me because he doesn't practice Family Law, he did give me the name of a fabulous attorney. Last week I was thinking about this man. He's a literal legend in the city, and I was thinking that he's pretty old now...and as morbid as it sounds, I was hoping he wasn't going to die soon or anything. I looked him up, and he's still alive. Then yesterday, I stopped at 7-11 for coffee, and something made me pick up a copy of the paper from that city. I don't live there anymore; I moved to the burbs a long time ago and haven't read that paper since. My stomach dropped when I saw his name in the obituaries. But then I saw it wasn't him - it was his son, who is in his late 30s and died suddenly.

I had a dream last night about my best childhood friend, their house, and her mom. It was really weird and unsettling. Her mom passed away years ago, but in the dream she was still alive (and horrifically old and decrepit- think cryptkeeper) during the process of cleaning out the house and getting it ready to sell. The process that happened after she died. It was so creepy. And in the dream the house was decrepit too. Toward the end a backhoe came to tear the decking off the house because it was rotten- and the mom died. So they put her in the bucket of the backhoe and drove the whole thing to the cemetery. Just weird.

In response to a confession. It may not be a dream. Have you ever heard of astral travel? But I know exactly what you mean. My dreams/travels are so pleasant that I look forward to going to sleep.

Has anyone here read the blog Channeling Erik? It's been really helpful for me.

I have a deck of tarot cards. I did some freelance bookkeeping for a weird little occult themed retail store, and instead of paying me, she said to pick something out from the store that was worth about what I would have charged. I picked the tarot cards. That was probably 15 years ago and I still don't know how to use them. And I still want to learn. It all seems pretty complicated.

Anyone use Oracle cards? Speak to their Spirit Guides? Use crystals for healing? I have such a hard time finding like minded people to share my views with have in depth conversation about things that interest me.
