Yea. Everyone saying that the US doesn't have an issue with guns or doesn't need gun control is out of their minds and blind. I hope Obama pushes for gun control before he leaves office. It's time.

You know, I can see minimum wage being raised to $15/hr in places like NY, CA, Seattle since cost of living is high in those areas. Fast food workers here in Phoenix are protesting and trying to get AZ to do the same and I'm sorry, but I just can't get behind that. Our cost of living is quite low and you can realistically live off of our current minimum wage. Sure, you might not get to live in luxury but you can still live comfortably.

Would you feel as though you were going to be objectified, or objectifying yourself if wearing a t-shirt that says "trophy" on it? Apparently people are up in arms for Target selling a t-shirt like this. Saying it's offensive to women. I don't think it is and I'm a bit of a feminist!

One of the kids in our neighborhood DIED from carbon monoxide while working on an engine with the garage closed. Go open the door if he won't!

My DH likes to go work in his garage for hours and hours at a time. He is currently working on an engine and he's running it in the garage with the door closed. Then he came in later complaining that he had a headache and felt achy. I told him he needs to have the doors open out there and to run an exhaust fan, but he never listens to me. Yup, because I don't know anything and he knows everything. Dumbass.

I had a lifelong friend that claims he got lucky with Monica on one of her book tours and thereafter. They stayed in touch for years. Friend's wife never found out. He's dead now. Question - is Monica just an independent woman in charge of her own sexuality or a slut for having sex with yet another woman's husband (my friend told her he was married so she wouldn't call him at home)?

The chances that you'd be able to get a gun out and kill a shooter while he's murdering those around you are pretty slim. You'd have to pull yourself out of freeze-in-place mode, which is the normal mode for when something dangerous happens. You'd have to get the gun from purse or holster or pocket. Aim it...not easy if there's confusion and a moving target, especially if you want to avoid hitting innocent people. You could compound the danger if you aren't a professional who understands the right way to take someone down. I don't think everyone being armed everywhere is a good idea.
