The US does not rank very high in a lot of categories when compared to other countries. Denmark, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, etc. all rank much higher in just about every category from life expectancy, education, happiness, etc. Just because there are places that are worse, doesn't mean we're better. That's like saying, I may be a alcoholic, but at least I'm not a heroin addict. Yeah, heroin may be worse, but that doesn't mean being an alcoholic is a good thing. America is no longer great. Sorry, it's just not. Yeah, places like the Ivory Coast are much worse, but plenty of places are much better. I don't see Canadians flocking over our border.

I'm a perfectionist too. It stems from having a narcissistic mom who wanted nothing less than perfection from me. She even found faults with perfection, and I'd get lectures & shamed for it. Her house was always a cluttered mess. But me? Mine was minimal and clean, but she'd come over and rant on me for having something out of place at my house that I pay for. It was always surprise visits, so I barely slept cuz I was trying to make my home perfect so she wouldn't treat me like crap over it. The only thing I lived for was perfection for her approval. Friends took that to mean I thought that I was better than them (in fact I feel less than them) and they too would point out when I left a dish in the sink or something minor. It started my anxiety all over again. Been no contact with mom 5yrs, she'd die if she saw my house now. dog hair everywhere and IDC!

Doesn't it irritate you how a man you're married too or have been dating and living with for awhile, doesn't know what to get/buy you for Christmas, birthday, etc..... Us women always seem to know what to get/buy them.

It's so interesting that people believe that other countries have a better life, better laws, and more opportunities and equality than the USA. Clearly they've never lived in those places. In fact a lot of them are depressing beyond belief.

I have to work more on being humble. I'm a smart person, but I also try to be perfect all the time and people LOVE to point out when I'm wrong. I know it's a character flaw of mine. I think it contributes to a lot of problems in my life, unfortunately.

Welp this is embarrassing. This was obviously meant for the psychic section, so please don't trash me because your beliefs are different than mine, I stopped believing in this stuff years ago which is why the whole thing is so bizarre to me, I was just trying some exercises recommended to me by therapist who works somatically.

This is probably going to sound ridiculous, but I think I'm having a kundalini awakening. I've been doing tantric exercises to deal with trauma because A. I can't afford a therapist and B. I have issues with verbal communication so I don't think it would do much good. Anyway, last night I did some exercises working with the feeling of anger and my spine started gyrating unconsciously and it literally felt like some kind of mineral was breaking away from my spine and dissolving...not just a picture in my mind but I could feel it, and it wasn't painful, but very physical. It sounds bizarre to describe but I have never felt anything like it and I can't find any scientific explanation for it online.

I remember her being a sweet kid that loved to sing, read, and hike. She had a beautiful angelic voice. She would have graduated from HS last year. Too frickin' young. I need to keep chipping away at my mental health because nothing is guaranteed.

I found out my former boss' daughter passed away at 17 years old. :( :( :( I really can't believe it. It had been years since saw them, but I remember running into her mom who said she was having a really tough time. I just can't believe she would have passed away at 17. Wow.

I don't think I want to be married anymore. :( You're supposed to look forward to spending time with your spouse, not dread it every second of every day.
