FB friend, I like you, but I wonder if #100daysofhappiness is too many.

Ever have your chestbone pop/adjust/crack? I felt like it was tight and needed to be popped so I extended my arms over my head and gently stretched back and pop! my chest went. It felt good and now I feel like I have energy!!

I have an old patio set I inherited from my parents. My parents got it when I was about my son's age, so it's probably 35 years old. You know the kind with the vinyl straps? That kind. They had it powder coated and repainted one time. That was I don't know how long ago. Last summer one or two of the straps broke, so I put cushions on them. Well this year that isn't going to cut it. Four more straps are broken. I've looked at the cost of new patio sets and the cost of having the chairs re strapped. I finally found an online store that will sell me a kit to repair it myself for $169 dollars. The paint on this set still looks good, because it was powder coated. Every decent patio set I've looked at is more than a thousand dollars, and I don't think any of them are going to last 35 years. I think I can do it. Wish me luck!

Also want to add that I know my husband didn't like those pictures, as to him it brought back pain but he didn't tell me the truth about what happened to him as a kid until a little later so I didn't know what to think. The therapist also told me that she doesn't believe he has any unnatural tendencies.

Apparently I found out that my husband was sexually abused as a child. I didn't know about it until I found some links to a horrible website and then to the CIA. Apparently, he was facing depression really bad and was suicidal (I didn't know, he never told me) and thought that as a kid he was asking for what happened. He went on a website and found illegal images and reported them, in his words it was like attacking the people who attacked him. I found the history and freaked out. We have been seeing a therapist who says that this is normal, to lash out at people but I was also afraid that he went on that site and saw those pictures for himself (that was my first horrible thought even though there is no past history) we have been seeing the therapist together but I still feel like I have been betrayed and it will take a while for trust to come back. I love my husband and am proud that he finally told his family about it. I know he didn't deserve what happened to him as a kid but that first shock of finding out hurt a lot and the thoughts I had before he told me the truth.

Lately, I've been cheapening my recipes a bit by substituting meats and other ingredients. DH has started to notice and I don't think it's in a good way. I either need to find some new recipes or tell him the grocery budget's got to go up if he wants to keep eating the way he does.

My husbands work treats him like crap. He has been working there for two years and has always gotten the same amount of product out. Now they want him to double his product. There is no way for him to do this. First shift gets about 50 products made with 5 to 6 people working on the line. My DH usually makes 25 a night and he works alone.

One time my family went on vacation and asked my friend to watch our guinea pig. Apparently while we were gone our guinea pig died. Not only did my friend not tell me while I was gone she put his body in the freezer to keep him for me. The day I got home from vacation I found my dead, frozen guinea pig in his cage on my front porch. My friend didn't understand why I was more than a little upset by this. The last thing my kids needed was to see their dead, frozen guinea pig when they came home from what turned out to be a very stressful vacation.

I have strep throat and feel like shit. However, unlike everyone else when they get sick, I'm not posting every hour how puny and sick I feel, not posting pics of the thermometer, etc. Because guess what? Nobody cares. Nobody cares if you have strep or a fever or another backache/headache. STFU.

Oh great, here we go again. We both have the day off and we talked about getting together to do something. He just called and was in a big hurry to get to the dentist, then he complained about having a ton of stuff to get done at home, so I suggested getting together in the evening around dinnertime for a few hours. He became grouchy and said he wanted to see me in the sunshine for once! Well I was just trying to be accommodating and work around his schedule. Mr. Grouch. Walking on eggshells...fun, fun.
