They are just now mandating vaccines? At a hospital?? Am I the only one that is wondering why that wasn't done months ago??? If you are in healthcare and don't believe in science, then you have no business working in that field and should have your license revoked.

Teacher Life- My special education program has eight students. Two of them have Covid right now. Adults- please keep your act together so school can stay open.

Folks- when you catch a typo, or have a suggestion for a flyer that has already been completed, can you be nice about it? I worked for hours on something and ran it by the bosses. They all approved of it. I sent it to folks today and EVERYONE had to chime in. "Can this be bulleted?" "It should say this instead..." I changed the color scheme, I changed the wording, I had it translated into Spanish. I'm sorry it's not perfect! MAKE YOUR OWN DAMN FLYERS! Or shit, just try to use some nice words! Show appreciation for someone's work. I don't have to do this. It's not part of my job. Feel free to do it yourselves!

Teacher Life Update- Time allowed for special education presentation was moved from 90 minutes down to 45, then down to 15, and then on the day it was scheduled, up to 30. It went great. People seemed to appreciate it. Principal promised more time in the future. I feel like we are getting someplace SLOWLY.

Okay so today I don't hate EVERYONE. LOL. My boss finally FINALLY sat down with me yesterday afternoon to give me some guidance as far as what to do with a couple really difficult clients. It's really amazing what a little communication and a path forward can do for my morale. There are certain decisions I can't make, it's just plain beyond my pay grade. Sometimes it really does have to be his responsibility. Woke up this morning actually feeling rested and good and ready to work. That hasn't happened in a log while. THIS is what I'm supposed to feel like. I still am annoyed by the four cent pay raise, I mean come on. Really? Cough up a half a dollar at least. Why do I care? I have no idea. But I do.
