Ok, so yes, there were a few cases of cyclosporiasis from the cilantro at El Azteca. People--that does not mean that just because you have diarrhea, you have cyclosporiasis. Especially if you haven't eaten cilantro in years! Grrr. So quit asking your doctor to run that test on you--it's a waste of money and time and for the love of all things holy, stop playing internet doctor and getting all paranoid about the latest possible disease outbreak that you probably are at a super low risk of actually getting. Again--GRR!!

Not that I would cheer for a man being sentenced to death, seems ghoulish, but it bugs me that they're going to execute Tsarnaev (the Boston bomber) but not James Holmes (the Aurora shooter.) Holmes killed 12 people, Tsarnaev only killed 3. Seems unfair. It's not like I have a better idea of how to do justice besides the subject jury system we have now, but it just feels really wrong.

I missed the debates last night. I kind of want to see them and kind of don't. Wonder if I could find them online to watch now...

Donald Trump, just shut the fuck up. PLEASE. Anybody who talks about the US being too political correct needs a bitch slap. To quote Neil Gaiman: I was reading a book (about interjections, oddly enough) yesterday which included the phrase “In these days of political correctness…” talking about no longer making jokes that denigrated people for their culture or for the colour of their skin. And I thought, “That’s not actually anything to do with ‘political correctness’. That’s just treating other people with respect.” Which made me oddly happy. I started imagining a world in which we replaced the phrase “politically correct” wherever we could with “treating other people with respect”, and it made me smile. You should try it. It’s peculiarly enlightening. I know what you’re thinking now. You’re thinking “Oh my god, that’s treating other people with respect gone mad!”

I think he's a complete idiot, but I have to say that Donald Trump's comment about Rosie O'Donnell was pretty funny. I can't stand her either.

My Facebook was actually very quiet last night after the GOP debate. I was rather surprised. One of my friends was so excited to watch and ranted and raved about Trump for prez and turns out he didn't even watch. Anyone but Trump. I wouldn't be able to look at his stupid mouth for any amount of presidential term.

Man, Donald Trump is the debate equivalent of a monkey flinging its poo everywhere.
