OMG. *deep breath* So. You have a 'savings' account but somehow in October you started writing checks out of it. Also, you don't provide the statements for November or December. So I ask you what the October checks were for, and for those two statements. You send me: The October statement with descriptions written for the three checks that cleared, along with the November & December statements. ON WHICH I can see that you KEPT writing checks out of this 'savings' account. BUT YET you neglect to jot down what the FUCKING checks were FOR that you wrote. Jesus H Christ. You've been running a business for 30+ years and working with ME for 12. And you just have NO IDEA that maybe you should TELL ME what the CHECKS WERE FOR?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! It bothers me when I see this guy pay himself 50/hr. and pay his one and only employee- his own son- 13/hr. And everyone is so incredulous that the son isn't taking advantage of the 'generous' retirement plan. NEWSFLASH! It's because he can't wrap his head around ever being able to retire and he needs EVERY PENNY right now. Right now this minute. It bothers me to no end. This is a guy who's almost 30 and has been working there at his dad's store for 6 years. I don't understand how employers sleep at night sometimes. Especially people like this. And this is really common. HEY EMPLOYERS! Your employees fully plan to die on the job. That's why they don't partake in your 'oh so generous' retirement plans. They need every single penny RIGHT NOW and don't see themselves ever retiring. Ever. That's a privilege set aside for YOUR ilk. They avoid the whole thing mentally because they know how f*cked they are. And they know you'll be off boating every day by the time you're 60. It's depressing.

Thank God I work from home, because I am literally in tears trying to figure out this stupid program. I am pretty damn competent technologically. I am a God damn guru in just about every, single Microsoft Application. Seriously expert level. But for the life of me, I just can not understand SharePoint. I have taken every class under the sun for the past year, spending thousands of dollars on them. And that's in addition to all the free online courses I've taken. And I just don't get it. I am so frustrated and feel so stupid that I finally just broke down sobbing. I need to know how to create and edit pages for my job now, and all of the classes might have well been in Chinese. Seriously, that's how lost I am. I have a meeting this afternoon to discuss the best way to set up a bunch of stuff in SharePoint, and I'm supposed to be the expert. And I don't have the slightest clue.

Nightmare yesterday morning that I can't shake. I was providing in-class support to one of my kinder students except at a college. In the dream he is still 6 and I am trying to adapt the material to his grade level and needs while trying to manage his aggressive behaviors...in a university lecture hall. I have never had a work nightmare about a specific student. I actually woke up feeling guilty but I looked t up and nightmares have an evolutionary function- to help us process trauma and deal with potential dangers. I feel like this dream is telling me that I'm not happy about the possibility of being this kid's punching bag for the next few years. He is making progress but it is taking a lot out of me.

I hate working with this one client in particular just because she still uses a quicken program from 2013. Actually, she upgraded to that last year because I asked her to. Prior to that she was using a quicken program from 2008.. I can't open ANY of these files in actual real QuickBooks without doing a shit-ton of conversions. I hate this. god forbid she use a program that isn't free. Who cares if it's older than dirt and 100% obsolete and not compatible with ANY current software systems. Oh how I hate working with this client. Hate it. even though she's GOOD. I mean, she's GOOD. She understands debits and credits and is the ONLY client I've ever had EVER that has ever ever tied out to the penny with her lotto statement at the end of the year. She knew immediately when one of her employees started stealing from her. Because when you keep good books, you KNOW things. Imagine that. She just doesn't know how to compute. She'd do great with those old paper ledgers.

School is so stressful I don't know teachers are making it through the day. Behaviors are very intense even in Kindergarten. These jobs need to be human sized. A teacher with an average amount of skill and experience should be able to handle it but they are being set up to fail. The teacher in the classroom I'm supporting is using a voice amplifier because she has injured her vocal cords trying to be heard above the mayhem. I'm worried she is going to quit. I have strong classroom management skills but it's not my class and sometimes three adults can't keep 20 kids engaged and safe. I feel like no one is learning anything. It's deeply demoralizing. Check on your teacher friends. They are not okay.
