Yes! Away from the city as much as possible. I didn't realize how much environmental stressors can from living in a dense city. I'd love to be around anything calming like mountains, gardens, and body of water (ocean would be greatl, but river or lake is nice, too). The ideal climate must be warm at least 75% of the time. Thanks for asking!! :)

I'm going to strongly consider a move now that I'm not tied down with a job. I'm sick of paying $2K a month for a tiny 1-bdr apartment in the city. Where should I move to? :)

I feel like the hobbies people have picked up due to being stuck in the house because of covid are all things I was doing anyway. I've always baked my own bread and cooked from scratch at home. I've always done sewing (although I have upped my game exponentially over the past year). I've always practiced yoga at home. Even growing out gray hair. I stopped dying my hair 3 months before covid hit in 2019. What have all you folks learned to do/what hobbies have you picked up?

Hi cocopop, you're sooo sweet with your encouragement. I'm feeling sad and excited about this transition. I've been with the org. for almost 5 years. definitely time for something different that feeds my soul, but first, truly need to take care of Self.

The guy in The Masked Dancer is an actor named Craig Robinson. He was in Hot Tub Time Machine. Allstate guy is Dennis Haysbert.

Anyone know if the guy in the Allstate commercial is the guy who hosts The Masked Dancer? He's driving in a convertible and singing along with the silver lady hood ornament.

When I leave my job next month, I plan to take summer off to focus on healing from past traumas that have oppressed majority life. I'm grateful I can do this. I will focus on safety and stability within my body. I've learned that even if I'm learning new tools on how to manage depression, it makes it that much harder to utilize them in an unhealthy environment. Everything will be under review and it starts with changing my beliefs system and healing from intergenerational trauma.

I swore I'd never do cosmetic surgery, but I'm really considering facial fillers right now. My lips are exactly like my grandma's---thin and flat and my undereye area is sort of hollowed out and gross looking. I wish they weren't quite so expensive but in the meantime, I'm using all the OTC things I can for them.

I used to do OMAD too....I could eat a huge ass meal at dinner and it would keep me going until the next night. But as I got older, I couldn't physically eat that much anymore so I had to start moving my food around a bit but I have lost weight doing that despite eating a bit more food. Metabolisms are weird sometimes. I also have to make sure I lift a few times a week or I know I'm losing muscle mass. Getting old sucks big time.

I used to only eat one meal a day, dinner. And that was fine. But then last November I got really sick and couldn't eat for like three days and after that I had to eat only tiny amounts until I could eat normally again. So I lost a bunch of weight. I figured I should probably start eating lunch to gain some of it back. Now I eat lunch every day. I eat the same thing every day and I meal prep it each week. Then I got sick again and couldn't eat my lunch for a few days. I was too nauseated. What I've learned- now I have to eat lunch to maintain my weight. It just drops so quickly anymore if I don't eat enough. I thought the opposite was supposed to happen as we age. I'm almost 50, FCS.
