As an introvert, I really don't mind staying home. But today I had a random burst of laughter with a stranger and it was really energizing. Saw a pretty cute guy at the deli, too. I guess I miss socializing.

My body is not that curvy and my waist is a good two inches higher than average so when I wear high waisted pants I basically look like a drinking straw. It's not cute. I wish I could wear that stuff. Oh, and the retro high waisted bikinis are so freaking cute on everyone but me. Wah.

I got a pair of high waisted crop jeans for $1 on clearance. They are super cute but anything that has a high waist is something I only wear when I have zero bloating going on.

One of thing that has changed my life is signing up for the free app, Insight Timer, a meditation app. I am finally learning how to be healthy, whole and loving towards myself on physical, emotional, physical, spiritual levels. I join their free Live classes and courses from a diverse range of teachers. As BIPOC, it's hard to find teachers that are relatable in the wellness field. I love this community of like-minded kindred souls. It's truly lifted me up on some dark days with ongoing Depression and Anxiety. If you told me a year ago that I would be self-healing from trauma, making new friends from all around the world, and meeting amazing teachers from an app, I would not have believed you!

I have a snarky retort to most inspirational memes I see, luckily I still have the good sense to keep them to myself.

I feel like you can really tell a lot about a person by the memes they share on social media.

I've been doing some research on calories and I'm still convinced that fiber and foods being not processed actually lowers their effective calories. They've done experiments with nuts and found that nuts have about 20-30% fewer actual calories than previously thought and nut butters have a more accurate number according to the calculations. Makes sense to me considering labs do macro testing in a calorimeter and our bodies can't always digest exactly everything we put into them.

Almost time to start my garden!!! I'm so stoked. I am planting tomatoes, cukes, zucchini and yellow squash, acorn squash, green beans, peas, and a bunch of lettuce and spinach and kale. Oh and cabbages. And probably corn and carrots too. So. Dang. Excited!! I'm so sick of eating crappy, sad, Midwestern winter produce.

So I got dinged points on my HRA for my BMI being too low--it's on the verge of underweight at 18.4. So what do they give me? A handout on how to "manage my weight" by dieting, eating no more than 1600 calories a day, and exercising regularly. *facepalm*.

Saw Klhoe K in a commericial for a migarine medicine. Her face looks scary. She needs to cool it with all that plastic surgery. I wonder if that's her new soucrce of income that the show is done.
