I recently got a sample in my Ipsy bag of a really awesome leave-in conditioner from a brand called Ouai. I looked it up and a 4 ounce bottle is almost $40. I might splurge, though. It's pretty good stuff. Smells good, is lightweight, adds shine, kills frizz. It's definitely one of the best products I've used in a long time.

I feel you, I went up a size as well. My job has a uniform sale/swap FB group page. A LOT of employees were furloughed last year, but have now been recalled, quite unexpectedly. Now there are panicked posts from everyone needing larger sizes.

I'm disappointed by people who say they'll help with a favor, but then end up not following through. Please just tell me you can longer do it. I can take it. I would just appreciate direct honesty. Then I will stop asking you if you'll still do said favor. But now, I'm running around follow up after follow up. I'm so over passive communication.

I live in a state where we have been effectively locked down for a long time. I've gained weight, and I'm not happy about it. Now that things are about to start opening up more I'm having to size up my clothes. I saw a couple of friends post FB photos where I almost didn't recognize them, they had gained so much weight. I was shocked, but at least I know that I am not alone! I am working on getting more exercise and plan to use the summer to get back on track with healthy eating. I hope we can normalize the weight fluctuations a lot of us are going through, and be kind to each other.

I'm totally going to shave my stupid head. I cannot stand my hair anymore. It's all damaged from dying it and it's all scraggly and weird looking and I feel like I should just start fresh, grow it out, and embrace my grays.

Sometimes I look in the mirror and just think, "How is this even possible?"
