Hang in there, OP. I'm also looking for jobs and I have a college degree and even though I've applied for like, 40 jobs in the last month, I've only had a couple interviews and no offers yet either. Something will come up. Maybe the interviews you had just weren't good fits--I really hope you find something. Life is too short to be stuck in hell forever.

People who don't do their jobs and expect for you to clean up for them. They are the worst. They are the ones who complain about everything being shitty, when they are the problem. Do your fucking job!

Nope, I've apllied to probably 30 jobs. All entry level, mostly call center or data entry. I've only gotten the 2 interviews. I'm in retail now, have data entry and customer service packground. My life is shit and it always will be. I'm struggling hard with my mental health and this is not helping. I'm always going to be stuck in hell. I'm never going to make enough to support myself.

Nope, this wasn't mine--my DNR job interview is next week. I'm still nervous for it and I really hope it goes well!!

This is happening in my family. For over 30 years my uncle and aunt built a life together. They did everything right - had great jobs (200K+ combined), bought a house, had kids, bought investment properties, a vacation home, etc. Early in their marriage they bought a piece of land in their favorite place, where they were going to build their dream home when they retired. They were supposed to retire next year. Last year he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. He's had surgery, but it keeps growing back. We're not sure how much time he has left :(

A random person just walked into my office and asked if he had an appointment with me at 2pm. Uh, no. Weird.

So I had this great interview for an internship with the county as a conservation tech and they told me they would be done interviewing people last week. This morning, I got an email from the manager I'd be reporting to and he said they are doing MORE interviews yet this week. I'm pissed. I thought they had all the applicants they were going to take and now that means there is just that much more competition.

I have this client. He worked all his life building a business, and last year he sold it for almost 2 million dollars, and retired. His wife is set to retire this spring. I just found out he's been diagnosed with a large, malignant brain tumor. And it's moving fast, he's already in the hospital, not ever likely to leave. He won't even make it to his wife's retirement, let alone all the things they had planned to do together. This is just awful. He's in and out of consciousness, and what is he mumbling about in his moments of partial clarity? His tax return. Jesus. He's such a nice guy, this is just the worst.
