But the belief that the side effects are more dangerous than the virus is based on complete bullsh*t and not on actual research, data, or science. So, no, I can't understand how anyone who claims to know anything about science or medicine could believe that. And if they do, then they obviously don't know enough about science or medicine to work in that field. Take their licenses away.

At the risk of getting slated (and I am vaxxed and rampantly pro-vax BTW)) I understand. If you are genuinely scared that the side effects are potentially more dangerous, why wouldn't you? I'd choose my health over my job any day if that was a belief I had. Some people will do that even if they know their situation will be desperate, and more of them probably aren't thinking through how much worse their situation will get. They just think they're protecting themselves their families. It's stupid, and I get as angry at them as the next person (in fact I just can't talk about it to these people anymore because I get so angry), but I can understand it. Also a lot of medical staff think, "I'm educated, so I know," even though they know nothing compared to, say, a virologist. I think the downside if 24 information access is everybody becomes an armchair PHD courtesy of Dr. Google. It's fucking dystopian.

They should not only lose their job but their licesnses as well. They obviously don't understand enough about disease, medicine, or science to work in that field.

Around here, like many other places, healthcare workers have a limited amount of time to get the vaxx, or they lose there job. Some of these people have been in these excellent high paying jobs for a long time and are just willing to walk away. I don't get it. It's not like they can get another job, the vaxx mandate will be there too. Not sure what they are thinking they will do. if I was their spouse I would be pissed that they just assume they will be financially supported. Jesus.

I went to the women's march this past weekend. Best sign I saw: "I bet you one unplanned pregnancy that you are secretly pro-choice." BINGO! I used to volunteer at a clinic that pereformed abortions. I can't even begin to tell you how many "pro-life" women came in for an abortion, some even telling the doctor and staff that what we did was wrong. But their abortion was always different.
