I just want to be a "we."

So, DH complains endlessly about my spending which he admits in his own words "isn't extravagant" but then he gets invited to a birthday party out of state and drops $700 on a new suit and shoes, $300 on plane tickets, and $300 on a hotel room. And who knows what on the rental car. And gift. WTF.

We winter in a 55+ community in Florida, and a lady here makes tea pot yard ornaments. They're hideous, and I've told DH that MANY times. Guess what the hell he got me today? Yep! Now he's pissed because I don't like it and had the nerve to suggest I take it back. It's sitting on a side table in the kitchen, and it'll be sitting there till hell freezes over!

Does he have a medical issue? I can't imagine sleeping that long unless I was sick or something.

My DH was off work all day yesterday. It snowed 6" and I had to go to class. DH slept until I got back from class at 3pm and hadn't even bothered to start loading firewood or clearing the snow. So I came home, started shoveling, let the dog out, did laundry, and got stuff started for supper. DH finally got out of bed at 4pm, ate a bunch of food, and then napped until 8pm on the couch. I get so damn frustrated at him when he does absolutely nothing on his days off. When I get a day off, I try to do all sorts of stuff I normally don't have time to do.

So why are you with him?

I haven't seen him since October/November, but lately he's been on my mind constantly. We had nothing in common, but I still really fucking miss him.

I don't feel important to him. I honestly never have.

Welcome to my world. When my DH is crabby, everything I do is wrong. It really makes me feel like shit.

DH was thrilled with the office and had even brought a gift home to surprise me today. Weird how that worked out. He said he's just stressed from work and sorry for being grumpy.
