My ex-husband tells everyone that I cheated on him. He makes women feel bad for him and pulls them into his dysfunctional life. I have a feeling a lot of people do this, actually. Playing the victim is such an easy way to get attention.

My ex told his gf lies about me,I know some of them. He has her convinced that he left me & I want him back. I left him years ago & have been in a relationship with someone else for years. He did the same to me when we were dating, saying his exgf wanted him back despite her having been in a relationship with someone else for years. A while back he was here visiting our kid, I got ticked off cuz he wasn't spending time with our kid, he was outside on the phone with his gf the whole time. I eavesdropped for a minute & got ticked off that he was lying to her about me.I make myself noticed, he put his phone on speaker and she yells at me to "move on" and "get over him". I laughed & tried to tell her what she was getting into with a liar/anger issues/financially dumb/dirty hoarder. She thought she won a prize. Now she changed her relationship status to not visible. I'm sure she's starting to see the real him, especially since the deadbeat hasn't asked to see or talk to our kid in 5 months.

In response to a confession. Did you not notice his face paced way before moving in with him or if you are married before you married him?

I love my DH a lot, but I think I might be one of those people who isn't cut out to be married. I love doing things alone. DH is nice to have around and I like having sex, but I won't mind too much when he dies. I will be a perfectly happy widow. I don't want to divorce him because that would devastate him and I think he needs my companionship more than I need his.

In response to a confession. I am kinda like that. I do a lot of mindfulness practice. It helps me a lot.

After being in relationships for 30 years, no breaks, I have taken 3 years off. And honestly? At 48, I'm thinking of staying single the rest of my life. I make a decent income, have insurance and retirement savings, a cute perfectly small place to live, pets, wonderful family and friends, lots of books to read. I kinda feel like I should want to get married again but I am really enjoying my life right now.

Horrible horrible exbf has gotten married to the woman I think he was seeing or grooming while we were dating. All I can feel is badly for her and her kids. She's really in for hell now, but she thinks she's got a prize. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Last night we went to dinner with family to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Saw some friends while we were waiting and when DH told them, the guy leans in to me, sniffs, and loudly says, 'do you smell like sex? Nope.' There had to be fifty people waiting outside and I was so shocked that I couldn't even say anything back (which is unusual for me). What an ass!!

First date night in a while and DH ruined it. I tried to make conversation, even going so far as to asking him if he was OK talking about the topics I picked which he said he was (this is not the first time we've had this problem). He got angry and blew up over my topics. He ruins everything with his negativity. Thanks DH for ruining my Friday night after a very long work week and leaving me trying not to cry in a public place. This is why I occasionally consider leaving. You aren't content to be miserable on your own, you have to drag everyone else down too. You suck DH!

For the first time in 9 years of marriage, I considered divorce. I don't even know why either. Maybe I'm just bored? My DH is a good man, good provider, funny, handsome, cleans, cooks, etc; could be my mid life crisis? I'm 49.
