As we walked by Victoria's Secret in the mall I pointed out I'd love a present from there. My dh acted completely surprised - is he that clueless? Arg. So I pulled him in later and picked my own gift - which I hate doing.

I haven't had sex with DH in a while, but I also kind of don't want to have sex with him lately...he comes home and trashes the house, sits on his butt all weekend and doesn't help me do the chores that need to be done, and gets on my case about every stupid little thing. I'm not so desperate for sex that I'll just put up with his crap, but I also need to talk to him so he knows this stuff seriously bothers me.

A freakishly muscular and hot man in your house repeatedly saying "just tell ne what you want and I'll do it". Wtf. This isn't fair how am I supposed to get that out of my head?

When it gets to be meal time, I'll ask BF his input on what we should have. Every time, he says "I'm not hungry, I don't want any". So, I plan the meal and start cooking. Most of the way through, he'll come in, circling around the kitchen like a vulture (lol) trying to get me to change up the meal because suddenly he's "starving" and has a craving. I just asked 15mins ago and he wasn't hungry. If I wait until he's hungry to make food...he ends up snacking while we cook and doesn't eat much of what we cooked. I've learned that if he says he's not hungry, I should start cooking because he'll be hungry soon. He has 2 modes, "full" and "starving", there's no in between.. BTW, I see nothing wrong with it but it can be annoying when I'm cooking potatoes and suddenly he wants rice instead. Usually if I've started the potatoes, then we'll do rice the next day.

In response to a confession. She probably acts defensive around your group, because she can feel the judgement. Notice how you began with how she's a chain smoking barfly with 4 kids with different dads.....then you throw in how she's jealous and bossy. It's apparent where your real problem lies. She probably acts that way because she feels she's being looked down on and she's right. Why would she be friendly to you? Your concern about the matter indicates that maybe she should be jealous around you. Why don't you post a real how you want your friend for yourself? That's something people can empathize with.

My DH travels for work. He's only home Christmas eve/day. I picked him up at the airport and started laughing, then crying because my mom has me SO stressed out. (She is picking apart everything in my brand new construction house, railing on me about christmas dinner, etc). DH told me he didn't want to spend Christmas with me venting. Well then. Fuck You very much dude.

In response to a confession. He sounds like a clueless douche. How annoying, OP.

I loathe talking on the phone. Thank god for texting. Teenage me spent hours on the phone back in the day. Before cell phones of course.

Happily married for 15 years but I still wonder if my hs sweetheart of 6 years was my soul mate or if I just think that because he was that magical first love?

I have this guy friend, he's nice, college educated, good job, etc. It's his gf that none of our group can stand. She's a chain smoking barfly with 4 kids from 4 men, been married a few times, etc. She's not friendly at all, has never been even though we tried to welcome her initially. She's always broke, bosses him around, super jealous, etc..none of us get what he sees in her. She treats him like shit. Hate to see him with her, although I would never say anything to him. His last gf was so great. Just smh.
