My husband was in a tizzy because he thought I used the debit card and lost it. He looked in my wallet and all through my purse (which is fine), and it wasn't in there. So he comes asking me all about "Where's the debit card?!?!" and I'm barely awake, right? I start going through my pockets of the clothes I wore yesterday, I'm out digging through the center counsel of my car at 5am, just looking everywhere. Hadn't even had coffee yet. Know where it was? IN HIS WALLET!!!! I had already given it back to him after I used it to get gas. Jesus H. Christ in a sidecar. Why are men, anyway LOL? (this is the same guy who accidentally plowed his wallet into a field a week ago and it was a miracle he found it at all)

Oh he did a couple of menial chores?? What a prince...I know it's hard to glean someone's life from a few confessions, but tbh he sounds borderline abusive, or at the least, a short-tempered asshole.

More DH complaints- He's in a bad mood again because he broke the glass shade on the porch light for the second time. I bought that light from a really nice shop that makes antique reproductions. The first time he broke it I was able to order a replacement shade, but now the light is discontinued. The glass shade was really unusual and I've never seen another one like it. I stayed calm and suggested that I buy a metal replacement shade this time. He got mad and said he wouldn't break it again. I guess I'm supposed to look for hours now for a replacement shade we both like? I'm so fucking sick of him right now.

On the other hand, he did the grocery shopping and washed the car, but yeah, I'm over it!

DH offered to do grocery shopping. Now he can't find his wallet and has been tearing the house apart while huffing, puffing, and cussing for half an hour. I wish he would just go ANYWHERE BUT HERE right now!!!! He is so hard on himself whenever things go wrong but it affects everyone in the house. (BTW- he just found it. It was in my purse. He put it there yesterday while we were out) So sick of this shit though. Usually, he won't tell me what's wrong unless I ask him five times. He just emanates bad vibes for hours. :(

I had to put my sweet pup to sleep on Thursday. I'm still a bawling mess about it because I miss her so damn much. I feel like I get more attached to my pets than people in my life. I know that's effed up but my pets have always been there with me while most people I know have not been there for me at all when I need them most.

He sent me a selfie of him out in nature with his dogs. I usually feel really tense around dogs after having a bad childhood exp., but some part of me just really softened. It caught me off guard. I'm not sure why he's in my life, but I'm just going to enjoy it.

We get into these waves of rapid texts then it's dead air while I feel anxious waiting for the reply. I guess that's better than texting all day long. I'm getting too emotionally attached and it doesn't feel good. To me, taking space means not responding to his texts immediately (perhaps even waiting a day or two), and not attending his live shows everyday. I will start to wean off because I still need this break.

It's hard to get some space when he is texting me. I said I would back off a bit on Tue which he agreed, but he texted on Wed and I wrote back quickly (ugh, bad habit). Then didn't hear from him until today (Sat) when texted to ask how I was doing. I wrote back again very quickly since I liked the attn feeling of someone thinking of me. He texted back a reply, but this time I did not respond back. I need to try to stick to my boundaries. I'm letting go for healing to flow.
